Methylcellulose
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HEMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether. It is produced by subjecting natural polymer material cellulose to a series of etherification reactions. It is a white powder that can dissolve in water and form a transparent viscous solution. It possesses properties such as thickening, dispersion, suspension, adsorption and water retention. It is applicable to putty powder, thermal insulation mortar, water-based coatings, etc.
